2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Buckingham Blue

power steering fluid

Hi all I am wanting to know if there is a alternative to theTexaco Cold Climate PAS Fluid 14315
Land rover wants $77+ dollars for a ltr and all I want to do is top it up.

As long as your not planning a trip to the north pole ATF Dexron IID or III will be fine...........£5 a litre here in the UK

I am in south africa, so can i use the normal dexron ATF or is there a higher grade fluid?

I needed some for my L322 steering. Hunting around, Penrite have a 14315 equivalent PAS FLUID - (Power Assisted Steering Fluid) but it's $28/litre at SuperCheap.
