Engine valve noise and high consumption.

High
Gremlins are not leaving...
I have very high consumption 20-22litres for 2 days and start hearing valve shimming like noise from front of the engine.
It is a loud tapping noise.
Any ideas???

My TD6 got harder to start when it was hot, it didn't want to go one bit, turned out that I had some blocked injectors. I had all of them cleaned by a Bosch Service Centre and 2 were rebuilt with new needles and tips. after this had been done the car was back to normal again starting with a flick of the key Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... God thanks i dont have 22 lt oil consumption!!!::)Only diesel!!!
Power is fine i rebuilt the intank pump it was stalling day to day now thats fine;
Consumption went down to 15 after pump change s which is normal but now it reads high values and interestingly real world tank and odometer looks normal.
My amp is still not working properly(low sound)and park sensors are also went down after amp.

Injectors were reading high values so it is probably the cause.Will check them next week. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
sold 06 td6 160k
Sold 03 td6 260k

I was charged £17 per injector to clean and test, and £135 less £17 ea to recondition the broken injectors.... with a full Bosch warranty!
I'd imagine that you can get them done for a lot less than that, as your not in the UK, just make sure that they are a Bosch Service Centre and you wont go far wrong Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
