Earlier models, including mine, superlock on one push of the button according to the Owners Handbook. Not sure when it changed.

Just for reference, a Blackbox Solutions "Can-Lock" device would possibly have prevented theft. It prevents the keyless module being accessed via the OBD port so a new key cannot then be programmed until the Can-Lock is removed or disabled. |

I don't think you can disable the movement sensors if its deadlocked. And I don't think the movement sensors are on if its single locked.

There is a big difference between not an insurance firm everything and answering specific questions. My point is about being specific and answer what they ask rather than offering full blown accounts of matters for them to dissect to their advantage. I for one would not trust an insurance co as far as I can throw them. Unless they specifically ask me a question they will not receive any 'answers'.

A tracker will not or cannot stop the theft, it will only help speedy recovery.

Further, if they do lie in wait, then the thieves drive off in the car and heaven forbid crash and hurt themselves, the police would be in a deep pile of the proverbial cos they "let it happen". |
