If your not going to use it much then IMHO I wouldn't bother, they really don't like not being used... better to save the money and hire one for the odd weekend... |

I would find the youngest SC you can find for 10k and keep it on a c-tek every time you park up!

any reason why to avoid diesel the fuel choice will be my first on list do I go petrol or diesel? |

I had a 2005 TD6 and loved it. The stereo was better than in my 405. I got around 20MPG and had it chipped with no problems. The only real problem was the noise of the engine. The performance didn't bother me, but it was quite slow. Love the thing overall. |

If you aren't going to use it much then the mileage/fuel consumption argument is pretty mute. Diesels don't like being under used, stuff starts sticking and then things go bang......
