Headlights stuck on dip?

When selecting main beam there is no discernible change in the output from the Xenons however the inboard light comes on and this provides high beam. I'm not sure weather on not the xenons should change, I think and have read on here, that they should but mine don't seem to. Another feature is that when first switching on the are high and bright then stabilise to a less bright setting anyone else lights behave like this? Geoff

Thanks Stan.

LEDs? are they bright enough and fast enough to be "flashers" I have seen/can see a drive in some quarters on here (you're guilty as charged) to replace every bulb on the car with an LED but I can't really see the point and it's an unnecessary expense, yes they offer lower current consumption but so what - never had a flat battery on current car.

Hey and I say this with a smile Very Happy - whatever floats your boat guys if its LEDs it's LEDs, not for me to judge or preach but I will be replacing my foglight with LEDs as one is currently full of water.

I'm assuming they are H7 (not the fogs the main beams) Geoff

LEDs are plenty fast enough, but they would not match up with the correct focal point designed for a narrow filament. Thumbs Up

I believe I have given my suggestions re bulbs to you before so I shan't repeat that, but for anyone interested in further reading on "performance"/blue/"whiter" bulbs etc., take a look here: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/bulbs.html Wink Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
