My sat nav screen has been suffering from a large black circular mark which has slowly gotten bigger so I purchased a like for like from ebay to replace it. So today I took on the job and thanks to this forum and a thread I found here http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic29219....sh+removal
the job was made very easy. It took about 90 minutes and replacement head unit fitted and dashboard all back in place. Great forum and great write ups.

Old and new head unit. (can see large black circle on screen on right)
New one fitted and dash replaced --- Took about 90 minutes in all.
