Could it possibly have been the viscous fan. They can be noisy when first starting up after a cold night |

Are you joking? With all the discussion on the FBH recently you really need to ask? |

Forgiven. Yes it makes a Whoosh that kinda goes on for ages till it reaches full throttle/burn. Almost like a little jet engine. Should be most audible from the passenger side power vent. |

I could never hear my FBH over the viscous fan noise. |

If you don't pre-warm it should come on automatically to help the car get up to operating temp. Otherwise it takes ages. |

Depends on the functionality you want. You could fit a webasto pre-heater fairly easily in the space where the original goes, use all the factory pipes etc but if the wiring is not there to talk to other systems you could then just use the default webasto setup which is a timer and/or remote. The Rover/MG's that dont have the TV screen just use a webasto timer in the cubby box, as well as having the T90 remote unit as an option. You can also use a GSM switch to activate it by phone/text ![]() ![]() ![]() |
