Do you mean the big White plastic nuts that hold the sidelight unit in? If so they're about 4 quid from LR, I wouldn't advise driving with one of the nuts missing though, that's how I lost one of my sidelights on the motorway. I'd say at least use a couple of washers and 2 nuts as a temporary measure. 2006 Mercedes CLS

Will these work on 2002/3 model? Currently, one side is very dim, both very yellow. .

Yeah, they're the ones I have, make sure they're can-bus compatible so they don't throw a bulb error message up. 2006 Mercedes CLS

England 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

Stone the crows!

I bought a set and fitted them... grand they are to.

Last night I went to go to work for the night shift.. put the key in the ignition and turned on... whats this.. strobes reflecting off the garage door alternate sides of the car.. about five cycles and then stopped.. I'd got no further than switching on the ignition and not flicked any lights on.

Turned off ignition and switched on again.. sure enough cycled the alternating strobe effect from the side lights, about four or five cycles from each side. I can only assume its the I-Bus senting a low voltage to check for bulb failures.. normally not enough to light the standard bulbs but sufficient voltage to light the LEDs.

Have to say it may raise questions when I come out of work given every other car has legitimately fitted strobe lights Laughing

Haven't experimented further but suspect it must do it every time ignition is switched on.. just never noticed in the day light and due to not running the FFRR due to the gearbox declining health. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Just fitted mine (see M44KTS ebay link) this morning. No warnings, no flashing yet.

Wow though, what a difference. The old "analog" bulbs were both completely shot and silvered over, hence why so dim. They can go into the box for trips to Europe.

Now to fit blue light tubes under the side steps Laughing .

Fitted. So they don't look quite as good during the day as being a 2007 you can see the bulb/led unit but who really looks that hard at a headlight (aside from flies for a very brief and rather terminal moment in their lives)

Question... what is the other bulb sharing that unit? It's not a sidelight, foglight or a main bulb so what on earth is it? I tried all the buttons and switches I could think of and none of them lit the bulb up....

Anyone? Come on... show me how daft I am as I can't believe it's an unused bulb in there....
