fot half that money, you could buy an Arnage, like similar to this one,
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...;logcode=p
(not this one, it's a cat C) but similar money, gets you a 1999, with either the bmw 4.4 or the Bentley 6.8. (later engine) the 4.4 is twin turbo, and same engine as the early range rover, 17mpg....+ lpg possible... but just look at the inside. this has had the later headlights, so it's facelifted to 2011.

a serious retirement reward. and british looking headlights!

they were 150-200k new. -when a London 2 bed flat was about 75-100k

Drove a Bentayga for the first time today.

Drives really nicely, and by God it's really quick too.......
Few people do interiors as well as Bentley

I know it's a load more money but if finances were not an issue I'd definitely have one.

I think I am in the minority here but I don't dislike it. The £££ mean that it's not a decision I'll ever need to make but if I maybe kicked a ball around a grass field in Greater Manchester and chose to use my surname only, I'd be in the market and would look at it. I certainly don't dislike it, but; A fully spec'd L405 with the remaining £100k to throw at fuel would be my choice Thumbs Up

If you think the Bentayga is the ugliest Bentley....I think I can trump it..

haven't seen the bentayga in flesh yet, but this is my "Bentayga-base" compyny car Q7 against the
family FFRR.

I can tell you, it makes a difference! The Audi is quick and more limo-style in its driving behaviour.

But the FFRR is just the bigger, more sophisticed and by far nicer drive.

You sit much higher up, have a completely different driving and sitting position,
the vehicle feels more firm and "adult" and you alsways have the feeling to be inside a "castle"
compared to the Audi which is fine by itself, but just lacks the last refinement and "feel".

The Bentayga is only an Audi with a proper engine and some posh interiour... Whistle
