Did fitting a new switch do the trick for you buddy?

Exact same issue here and if I can avoid dismantling the whole s*****g door then that would be a bonus Smile

Much appreciated thanks, I suspect a stuffed relay in the drivers window switch specifically the UP direction as I can hear a relay click in the DOWN direction but not the UP...

Will power the window motor manually to confirm everything else is good, once I find my old Maplins 12v Bench PSU Smile

Might have to dismantle the whole switch cluster and see if there's anything obvious to resolder (dry joint maybe?) or work out which relay is faulty... or buy a known-good one on fleabay for £100 or so if all else fails I guess.

What a deliberately dumb place to locate a switch cluster though, guaranteed to get wet and corroded over time!
