Clearly the dedicated Winter tyres are better - otherwise they wouldn't bother making them

Their recommendation makes perfect sense

The fact is Frank wanted a Winter Tyre set for Winter use on German Roads in Winter.

The Contis with M&S are not Winter Tyres whether technically legal in Germany or not.

I agree on what Frank wanted

However, I see no evidence that Craig ever described them as Winter tyres

I have also seen more than enough confusion to accept that he didn't know exactly what Frank wanted / needed

Clearly not an ideal situation for either side - but one I'd firmly put down to experience

re craigs post, he states at no time did frank ask for winter m&s tyres in his pm's when he was purchasing them...

I start to be kinda confused now if i really wanted winter tyres - the thread is to long....

No matter i just talked to my insurance company and they stated that under certain situations like to much snow and ice i will loose my cover - as simple as that - cause running a 2.6 t vehicle with M+S tyres is *criminal* in heavy winter.  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!
