*Check with the tyre supplier if you are in any doubt as some 'M+S' tyres sold in the UK are summer tyres. These would not meet the requirements even though the sidewall marking, ‘M+S’, might suggest that they do.

so reading this statement, i would say that all-year or all-weather would include summer tyres

So an All Season Tyre with M+S markings - so legal in Germany ? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...t+LX+Sport I'm still a big winter tyre fan - and have proper Winter Contis fitted - so I'm not arguing that they aren't better - just trying to be clear on whether they are illegal - I don't know about anyone else, but I'm learning here |

I think we can agree it is complicated and there is room for misunderstanding, how that is resolved is best done in private. I have often wondered why some forums are so pedantic in not allowing discussions like this, I at least now understand that. letters not necessarily in the right order |
