The only roof bars I could find require the permanent installation of rood rails - I could be wrong but I couldn't find any others.

I see! .... so the Land Rover Roof Rails are £818.00, crossbars are additional £357.00 and then one bike carrier is £139.00.

Okay, so bought a car with a tow bar .... any recommendations for a 4 cycle carrier. I hear ones from Thule and Altera are good but would like to hear personal experiences. |

I have the Atera 3/4 bike rack and it is very good. In particular, the facility to slide the whole rack away from the rear of the vehicle to give access into the boot is a must have. |

My car is one of those without a tow bar ( ) so does anybody have any suggestions for me to carry 2 bikes at the back? I don't fancy risking putting them on the roof with all that glass!! |

The RR is the one of the best towing cars available on the market, and its therefore surprising that Land Rover did not make it standard fitment, rather than an optional extra.

Gents, any tips on avoiding the power tailgate (gesture) opening while a bike rack is mounted on the towbar? |
