I thought the car would protect its self from this by shutting down or did you have the ignition on as well ?

I've sat on the side of the motorway with the radio, side lights and hazards on for 3 hours and was able to start up afterwards. I've also run the park heating (max a/c button, not pre-heater) for a couple of hours.

yep - found that one out today... leaving the ignition in II (that's the last position before crank) keeps everything active.....radio with play for ages, but take the keys out |

Got back from a weeks holiday yesterday, went to collect the RR from the long stay car park, t had 1 flat tyre, 2 soft tyres and a flat battery. Looks like it's new battery time. It's gone flat in under 10 mins before with the doors open and radio on when hoovering it out.

Am I the only person here who has flattened a radio with a battery?
