The two beeps is a door / bonnet open warning but normally you don't get the locked state. Could it be a loose lock sensor? I think the bonnet is the easiest to diagnose but the others are all within the packs contained in the door cards. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

If one aperture is open (or the car thinks it is), then i think it locks all other doors but not the one it thinks is open. When that aperture is then closed it locks it.

No idea Mate I'm afraid. Mine beeps at the moment, but I am about to turn it off as it is annoying me! From memory I think the setting is in the Body Control Module accessed via the IID tool. Cheers, Andy SDV8 AB MY 2019 SDV8 VSE MY 2015 - Gone 5.0 S/C AB MY 2010 - Gone 4.2 S/C VSE MY 2006 - Gone |

Just to clarify, it beeps twice only when i unlock it, it locks perfectly normal and the mirrors fold in as they should. 2011 TDV8 Autobiography |

Sorry I ms-read. If all functions well now then its just a case of disabling beeps via the CCF's and put it down to another LR anomaly! 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

It beeps twice when you unlock it to tell you the alarm has gone off since you locked it... faulty alarm.... for now, just unplug the alarm horn which is in the opposite place to the main battery on the earlier cars but they may have moved it on later ones... Pete
