Can't answer your question, but can tell you my FFRR has had the aspirator fan fault since I was able to read codes @ 6 years ago, my air con works fine, though.

Thanks Joe, Yeah, I will do, I'm just going through the various bits and bobs I can tinker with, like the the electric seats - now fixed. I though I'd have a go at the 'fan' problem, as it was an error code, but it's useful to know that it should run as is, which means electrically it should be working for an a/c technician to diagnose the fault.

What diagnostics are you using, some will show pressure which will give you an indication if it is just low on refrigerant or has a leak.... The two most common reasons not to be cool.... Pete

I've had the pressure tested by an a/c guy, and it's normal, but knowing there was a diagnostics fault recorded on the fan, didn't pay for full teardown of the a/c system in case it was as simple as fluff in the fan.

Oh right... for your info the aspirator fan is the small fan that sucks air in through the little grille on the front of the heater control panel, but as Joe says his works with the same fault so probably nothing to do with it, a proper code read or studying the live data should point you in the right direction....
