I leave mine set on 18 degrees everything on auto and let it sort its self out. Not using on a regular basis causes more problems and you can end up with damp musty smell coming from the vents.

As above - I leave it one, set the temperature and let the system work it out.

If it's like mine, it comes on by default when you switch on. I always switch it off unless I need to cool down (which hasn't been the case in the 6 weeks since I've owned it) or else to demist the car when we all get in soaking wet (which has been the case for most of the 6 weeks since I've owned it). |

I also leave mine all year for all the good reasons the others have mentioned. |

There are 2 types of people that don't run it all the time. Those that are going to get a big air con bill and be skint, and those that are going to get a big air con bill and not be skint.....

To add balance, it does dry the leather out though, which gives you an excuse to rub all that lovely conditioning cream back in..... |

Always leave the A/C on and use AUTO setting. Just adjust the temp with the temp dials. This is how the car likes it and keeps the electric dry due to it dehumidifying effects. Its AIR CONDITIONING not Air Cooling. |
