Eating, Drinking, putting make up on, getting the babies bottle, are all covered by 'driving without due care and attention'.
We are to forgiving in this country, a driving licence should be a privilege. After all a car is as dangerous as a gun. We all know how dangerous a gun can be in the wrong hands.
The driving test should be harder and drivers should be better educated on the risks of driving before they are let loose on the roads. 50 years ago it was seen as acceptable to drink and drive education has not made it socially unacceptable to drink and drive. I hope it doesn't take as long for people to get the message about mobile phones and driving. 56 TDV8 Vogue SE
