Wow. I've not heard of this, but RR's aren't common around here. As a suggestion, if you don't want to mess with the screw types, get a scribe tool and neatly put the VIN on each one.

We do at least one car a month where the light/lights have been pinched!

This country gets worse its obscene that people's pride and joys are attacked like this. It would be a great modification if you could attach the screws to the battery so anyone tampering was shocked.

I hate thieves. Chop their bloody hands off.

Good this post was resurected, I would never have guessed it was so easy.
For anyone interested you need 4, M6x1mm x 15mm long bolts to replace the existing bolts. Replacement bolts should be Phillips, slot, Torx, recessed hex etc heads, definitely not hex heads as existing.

Something like these,

Later models have them fitted, from around 07 on so if anyone wants to change theirs, main dealers will be able to supply the correct anti theft bolts Thumbs Up

Do you mean you leave your L322 alone in the street or on public parking lots! ?? Whistle

Just kidding, I feel your pain.

But hey, when I think about the kind of loosers needing to steal such small bits as center caps to sell them on, I really feel happy I have an honest job I like... and I can afford my pride an joy(s)

As said earlier, cut their hands off, they won't do it again. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Good thing I have the later screws on my TDV8 and the light grills from factory on the G4, they did not take the lights... they only took my ...winch! Twisted Evil l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Yes - later screws on the 2006 on - I had the same problem on a Disco a few years ago - you could unscrew those rear lights with a phillips screwdriver!

Shocked

2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Santorini Black

Got my pozi bolts through the post today so set about replacing the hex head bolts this evening. Except the hex heads come with a washer that I just can't remove from the bolt. It's as if the washer is fitted to the shank, and has. Whole too small to pass over the thread. God knows how it got onto the bolt in the first place.

So after much mumbling and cursing, it's off to the washer shop. Range Rover 4.2 SC
