FBH relay question

2002 model TD6 Vogue - FBH not working so had it out stripped cleaned and it looked in good condition. glow plug working etc. i have it on a remote so the fan starts, pump starts fans in the car etc as i have aux heating on the display. no fuel . looking at rave there is fuse 59 and it also mentions 69, will check 69 in a moment but no mention of a relay?

I also presume i can open the fuel tank access and get to the pump from there, anyone done this?

No relay involved.
These are the wiring diagrams. Sorry about the quality, it's the system.

Found it in rave to thank you for posting. I think.I either have a ecu board problem on the fbh as it also suffers with fan being on when you.open doors etc or a pump or a connection . will see if I can access the pump and.test for power etc this afternoon

FBH fuel pump is not in the tank, its on a rubber bracket above and to the front of the tank

when the heater starts up it should run for about 28 seconds, die down a bit then after about another 5 seconds you should hear the fuel pump start to tick if this happens the heater part of it is fine, it stands a chance you have a fuel blockage

i have came across 2 in the last week with the fuel pipe into the burner blocked solid with carbon= but it needs open heart surgery to clean it out and a welder to put it back together
burner housing

cut the 3 welds off with a dremmal

part you should end up with after cutting welds off

remove cir clip that holds metal gauze and felt gauze underneath

carbon blocking fuel delivery hole

hole aftre clean up

new gauze fitted £22 off ebay (picture did not come out)
3 tack welds holding it back together

otherwise if it behaves differentaly

IF stop after 3 sec, restart 4 seconds later and finally stop at 2 minutes 7 sec;
An error is generated; may be caused by:

-Battery voltage lower than 10 volts
-Glow plug open or short circuit
-Circulation pump open or short circuit
-Fuel pump open
-PCB defective

IF a weird turbine noise appears at a door opening e.g.,PCB likely faulty.

IF stop after more than 2 minutes 10 sec, then
PCB and all devices are good (except doubtful glow plug)

IF stop at 4 minutes 5 sec, Glow plug resistor too high (0,6 ohms for instance),

IF stop at 4 minutes 40 sec it is a ignition fault, (fuel pump priming fault e.g.) = blockage in burner

the pump does just click once when you power it up
you need to keep on/off on/off on/off with the power to see if it draws any fuel through it

if that is the case then it maybe ok apart from one end of the metal pipe just broke off.

I did expect it to just tick away as the voltage on my meter stayed around 10:30 to 11v when i connected to the fuel pump connector on the car( not the best connection) so it didn't pulse . when i pressed the remote i could hear the fan start, water pump and then the glow plug as that took some volts and slowed the fan for a moment. I will attempt to blow the pipes through before i fit the new pump.

After that it will be the blockage you mentioned above or and the PCB board.

I will do some photos too as forgot today
