2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey
HORN or more to the point lack of

took it in for MOT today , horn not working -hmmm was working okay yesterday

looked in handbook to check which fuse and it doesn't indicate which it is

anyone know which one it is??

theres a fuse for the horn in the big black box on the left handside in the engine compartment..its right on the left at the top.. ... - .- -.

Fuse checked and is intact , changed it out anyway , still NO HORN

I can hear associated relay clicking when trying the horn.

They are pretty much behind the drivers fog light (bolted to the end of the crash bar)... There are two of them and i'de be surprised if they both failed! but not impossible...

I guess the only way to know for certain will be to remove the bumper and check for power at the plugs sir Bow down

Ahh... Never know there was a removable panel there on a TDV8 Stan... Thought the rad/cooler thats mounted behind there would be in the way! You sure thats not for either a V8 or TD6? Stan???

cheers guys , it'll have to wait for better weather , so may be a while.

the horn did sound quite 'weedy' for the size of vehicle so it may well be the second sounder has failed

Sounds like one unit has failed and as usual the other shortly after!

Best to replace them both Very Happy Stabil Nautilus i think are semi decent and there are plenty of decent copies out there. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.
