United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover HSE Td6 Baltic Blue
2011 climate contol dash in to 2002 RR

One of the temperature control switches was broke when I bought the car, it works but the centre bit falls off all the time, Rolling Eyes

can I fit one of these in to my 2002 is it a straight swap i.e. plug and play or will I have to get the switch(S) out and fit them to my unit.

I have a number of the 2011 units if any one else want to try first Laughing

You've got more chance of fitting the one without climatic seat controls. Just use the Vogue one. The one you have is Vogue SE and Autobiography standard fit.

Is it my imagination or are all the controls on that new panel in the first post the opposite way round to the ones in most peoples' FFs??

Did they (JLR) change the layout at some stage and if so, what problems would that cause when re-doing the connections/wiring?

well to start with yes

Started to take the one out of the car and found it split in to 2 parts Evil or Very Mad not 1 complete unit like the new one.

Then I got distracted and ordered a new android head unit like the one on the threads here.
I got further distracted by the wife wanting to go shopping. I took her but sat in the car and dismantled the switches on the 2011 climate control, so it wasn't a wasted trip Laughing

So now I am waiting for the new head unit before I go any further

unless I get distracted again Rolling with laughter
