Not sure my driver's Heated/Ventilated Seat is working

Hi,
I am not convinced my seat is heating as it should.
At start up if I move the knob on the dash I do get the fans going but no heat seems to be coming from the seat.
I have raised the seat and had a rummage around but all the connectors seem to be in place.
Any suggestions gratefully received! Thumbs Up

Got the same idea, coming from a "normal" seat heating. I just think that the electrical seat heaters have a shorter response time. You feel them quicker warming up. But I stand corrected...

Can only give info from my experience in my p38 which has heater element the heat is there almost immediately but with my FF it can take a good 5 mins for heat to come through - so if I use the heated seat on a short journey the fans run but no real heat hope this helps

Thanks for the replies.
I have had another look and the problem seems to be only with the drivers seat. The passenger seat is heating up.
Any thoughts?

is it not the case that the heating in the climatic seats is warm air and not electric element? cold engine means cold seat?
my TD6 was tasty quickly, my 2011 is a lot slower to heat up. s there a duct loose between the seat and the source of the warm air further forward in the car (if indeed that how they work?) 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Its a peltier unit under the seat that gives the temp difference there is a slight delay in the heat getting through maybe 3 minsish

My car has suffered the same fate for the past 18 months Big Cry I have replaced the drivers climate control module twice now but with the same issues.

I believe that on the climate seats there is a thermostat which monitors the heat generated and if it gets too hot it shuts the system down. This I am sure is my problem and I think it is due to the warm air not being able to circulate correctly.

By the powers of deduction I think my problem lies with the back section and not the base as I have managed to get it to work by not sitting back in the seat. I guess the next stage for me is to take a closer look at the air circulation in the seat back Rolling Eyes
