The height of that ground floor was way inadaquate at 200cm, even before insulation and underfloor heating, so I had to take out 51cm just to get 227cm eventual height with a new concrete base, insulation and underfloor heating. 75 tons in all carried away by my RR. Worth it though as there is now a useable extra floor to my property.

Incidentally, digging is great excercise. I feel so much better for doing it. Thinking of starting a gym doing it - side benefit someone else digs me a swimming pool. Laughing
