I remember back in the sixties, our annual holiday down to Cornwall, no m6 no m5 it was a38 nearly all the way and about a 12 hour run. Mom and dad put us three boys in the back of his hillman minx and my young sister on moms lap. ah peril I hear you say. We would always travel during the night and stop around dartmoor somewhere to have breakfast. Then a drive on to carbis bay for a wonderful fortnights holiday. Some of the best memories of my life. My mom and dad b y heroes.
