Internal windscreen pillar trim

Is it easy to remove this, if so how?
I need to run a cable to the top of the dashboard from the glovebox or is there a better way to get a cable from the glovebox to the top of the dash.
Thanks for any help Thumbs Up Geoff

Would it be easier to take the top off the dash to get from glove box to dash top. Sure I've seen a powerful vid for this and it looks like the top screws off and slides forwards. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Depending on where / how you want to route it, you could ease up the speaker grille and unscrew the speaker, in the dash. Could give you some access to the central area if it helps.

The dash end caps with vents can be removed also, if that helps you..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Conor,
Its the side vents, I only want to get a cable from the glovebox to the top of the dash without going over the top of the wood trim, which means going under or behind it. Geoff

Remove the plastic Airbag badge at the top (just prize it off) then you will find a torx 40? screw. Remove that and then the pillar just pulls off sir Thumbs Up

Why are you trying to get a wire up to the top? If you need power? The vanity mirror light power is ignition controller sir Whistle Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig,
It's not up to the top where the vanity lights are, I have a dash top mounted Road Angel (came with the car) and someone has already wired the other end into the glovebox and routed it over that corner, I just want to hide it so behind the bottom of the windscreen side trim is one option. Geoff

On mine if you remove the Landover badge on the pillar there is a single screw behind it, then it pulls off.

Edit - doh just noticed I was beaten to it - cancel Embarassed 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts
