i've been looking into this and have concluded that any new type wheels from 2005 onwards need nuts with the chamfer on the bottom, wheels up to 2005 need the flat bottom nuts..so in your case using 2006 wheels the nuts must have the chamfer on the bottom... ... - .- -.

all the threads are the same, so you need to buy nuts for the wheels you are fitting not for the vehicle you are fitting them to 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift

As far as i can recall the pre 2006 wheels need a nut with a 20mm shank and post 2006 have a 23 mm shank. Easy quick reference is that the older nuts are usually black and the later ones are silver. You can't put later nuts on early wheels as they won't fit through hole Exclamation However be careful not to use older nuts on newer wheels as they wont provide necessary security as they will be loose in the holes.

Sounds simpler to say than type but i think you know what i mean.

Be careful when i bought my car the previous owner had put RRS wheels on and simply painted the black nuts silver...cheeky bas$%rd Exclamation 2004 54 4.4 on LPG

Please please please make sure you have the correct nuts for the correct wheels!
For Pre 05 cars especially fitting newer model wheels (i.e. post 05) will need the bigger 23mm nuts and not the smaller ones - 20mm

With the 20" Vogue wheels there are 2 types so get it right or Big Cry

Ummm Not 100% certain as i dont have them in front of me but certainly worth a go first. It should be obvious if they fit though - Ken will know more as he has had both - and he is "nuts" about wheels Thumbs Up

They look the same, but the Defender ones are different.
All Defenders with alloys take the same wheel nuts going back to when the vehicle was first fitted with alloys in the 80's.

I think the part numbers are as follows:

Defender: RRD500560
Range Rover 06+, Sport and Disco3/4: RRD500590

The thread is the same, but the other sizes of the nuts differs slightly so I would not fit them.
Crucially, the shank diameter is different.
