United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

That's great, Craig. Thanks.

Any idea what they cost or what the official name is for them? Not really sure what to ask the dealer for on the phone.

"Under Spoilers"

David (Craig),

Are they officially called:

Deflector, RH Black - Part number LR020485; &

Deflector, LH Black - Part number LR020486

Car looks great btw. A compelling visual argument on the merits of having a facelift done!

Thumbs Up

The part no's quoted above are correct.

(LR020485 and LR020496 just to clarify) they come with the screws required to mount them according to LR and the nuts that you secure them into are DYH500110.

The deflectors are £20.99p each and the nuts are £0.35 each.

Thanks for the heads up guys, will get in touch with Dan and get them ordered Thumbs Up

After Craig reminded me the diffusers were missing off the front of the SC I ordered them from Dan. Land Rover list the diffusers and the nuts that go into the bumper but they don't list the screws to hold them on, and they don't come with them!

I had the SC up on the ramp yesterday giving it a pre MOT once over and decided I'd get them fitted. I used some stainless steel no.4 x 25mm screws with some repair washers to secure them. I must say it's finished off the front of the car. I noticed they were missing when it was parked next to the TDV8 before but I'd never bothered to do anything about it. Wish I had done now!

As the weather has changed the lane up to the house is filthy now, especially after the local farmer has been in and out of the fields ploughing, so I decided I'd give my new snow foam gun and sheep skin washmit a go, so the the 2 FF's and the FL got a wash. Results were impressive. Unfortunately the light was beginning to fade but I managed to get a few group shots before it was too dark.

And one of the SC sitting gleaming under the light Smile

They do look really good in silver Thumbs Up (I would say that though, wouldn't I!?!? Laughing )

Silver wears the 2012 facelift really well too!

I really love the Baltic Blue on the AB but it's a lot more work to keep it looking good then it is on the SC.

Well I drove the SC for the first time in about 3 weeks last night. Drove from Glasgow to Lemmington, just outside Newcastle in about 2.5 hours.

I really do love driving that car, it's so smooth and quiet, yet when you need the oomph to overtake it goes like a stabbed rat when you prod the loud pedal. Smile

It's in Team Valley for it's service and MOT now so fingers crossed that it gets a clean bill of health. The guys there were knowledgeable and friendly when I dropped it off this morning. They were so efficient too, when compared to both of the dealers in Glasgow. Courtesy car was sitting waiting, paperwork was all printed and sitting ready on the desk. I signed two bits of paper and was away from the place in 10 minutes. Smile

Looking forward to the drive home again now.

Well it's got a clean bill of health.

Not a single advisory on the MOT and the only thing that they picked up on during the health check is the front discs and pads are about 50% worn. I knew about these but hadn't got round to doing anything about them. If they're only 50% and it's doing 4k miles a year there's mo desperate rush I guess.

If they're only 50% worn why are you even bothering to think about it?
