See - I liked the use of word dangerous as it got us all reading the post, I think I'll call my missis dangerous next time she is brandishing a sharp pointed 10" knife in my direction - this may well be my last post Rolling with laughter Geoff

My SWMBO is severely directionaly challenged although she does alright with a map in hand. To make matters worse, when she gets close to a touch screen, it seems to not do what one would expect (although since she has an iPad and Samsung Galaxy phone, things do seem to get better).

Luckily she doesn't get phased when she misses an exit and just keeps going till she gets there. Another great thing is that our eldest daughter (11) does have a pretty good sense of direction and memory for where to go so the two of them usually make it to a place quite well Smile.

I actually used to be quite good at finding my way with and without maps/nav systems but since I have been using the Nav systems a lot, I am getting lazy and rely on them (too much ??). In general they seem to get me to my destination even though I may have to use the old noggin sometimes to "overrule" the sat nav Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

When on a motorway, I have always assumed that the info on the right is not junction info but services info - so where you can get fuel by coming off at the next junction. Therefore a motorway intersection will not appear.

If you click on the red X on the right side of the screen to go back to full screen, it will tell you how far to the next time you need to turn.
