My SWMBO is severely directionaly challenged although she does alright with a map in hand. To make matters worse, when she gets close to a touch screen, it seems to not do what one would expect (although since she has an iPad and Samsung Galaxy phone, things do seem to get better).
Luckily she doesn't get phased when she misses an exit and just keeps going till she gets there. Another great thing is that our eldest daughter (11) does have a pretty good sense of direction and memory for where to go so the two of them usually make it to a place quite well .
I actually used to be quite good at finding my way with and without maps/nav systems but since I have been using the Nav systems a lot, I am getting lazy and rely on them (too much ??). In general they seem to get me to my destination even though I may have to use the old noggin sometimes to "overrule" the sat nav MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
