smd or cob panels seem to be the best solution to get brighter reverse lights...did you have any problems splitting the lens Scott? ... - .- -.

They split easily using heat gun and Stanley knife, it's raining today Craig it's been washed every day I think or detailed and had all tar spots removed and waxed three or four times min and mopped then sealed a lot it's like glass , it beads off top and bottom _____________________________________________________

done mine today..just 2 single cobs in each light...seems bright ,but i'll have to test at night..

Welcome to the bright life Stan, be warned that if you are easily shocked I'd recommend some sun glasses at first, just until you've got used to seeing everything that's behind you at night Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

thanks Paul....i dont really need brighter lights as i live in a well lit area but i was bored yesterday so i thought why not....

pic please Stan when you can? is it really worth doing over the standard reversing lights? are they that much brighter in total darkness over normal bulbs?

i'll try tonight Mike but its not very dark where i live ..i think its worth doing for the 'i did it' factor and they do look good.. ... - .- -.

Stan....do your have a socket so its just plug and play or did you have to splice? Can you link me to the one you are using?
