United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Lucerne Green

Hi Matt,
Great job. I want to do this with my 2008 autobiography but have no mechanical experience. Can you, or anyone, recommend a person or company that will do this for me?

2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Cairns Blue

Hi to all.Upgrade from 04 to 10 after a week's efforts, due to lack of time and expertise, successfully completed thanks to site infos.

Only problem i have is that although sidelights/indicators/main/high beam are properly operate when i switch on headlights from time to time and not always appears the "check side lights" signal and once received "check headlights" signal.
I have not used any interface box but only the resistor for the indicators.

Any ideas how i can solve this problem?

Thanks

If the lights seem to be working ok but you are getting check bulb/light messages it sounds like the cold (engine off) or hot (engine on) monitoring. This is the ECU checking the voltage of the lights for any bulb that might be out. LED lighting uses such low power it will flag as a faulty bulb. By using diagnostic equipment such as the GAP IID tool you can turn off the checking (hot and cold monitoring) of the bulbs to get rid of the error messages.

But remember to check the bulbs work visually on a regular basis as a back up as the computer will not do it any more. Tom

Quick question or maybe not so much haha. I bought a crash 07 that im currently doing the facelift. Its seems some post have different parts list thats needed. So far I got the headlights, 2010 front bumper, two bumper brackets (lr011467-lr11577), Bumper bracket (lr011574), 2010+ grill F,L &R. My question is do i need a different headlight connector? or do need to do some splicing or repining if so please explain. Another question is the fenders: This post is the only one that i saw that mention modifying the fenders or changing them to 2010+ type. Can you confirm this? Thank you very much

Another question - is it possible to switch on the cornering lights as I have these?

I'd like to know if they are the correct parking sensors too as I have just bought 2010 front bumper as a start to my facelift. Also are they painted when fitted to the original bumper from factory? 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography

If you already have the AFS cornering headlights and you buy the 2012 Corning headlights you can wire them up to work just follow the wiring diagram.

It is a 2 day job to remove old face, make modifications and fit the new one really. 2 1/2 days if your doing front and rear upgrade

You won't havecornering lights on a 2002 they weren't around until about 2007ish and they can't be retro fitted to earlier cars.
