The entertainment project is one of those that has become a huge monster, i built the whole system based on a third party base software then decided that it was too limited to add new features so i decided to scrap it and rebuild it from scratch writing my own code which where all the delay has come from. I am also in the process of completely rebuilding my website and expanding its content massively which is also taking a lot of my time up. I will post any updates and developments on the project and website on here and on my site. Matt |

Hi. Great job in detailing the conversion. I've nearly finished mine and am having a few minor probs with the front lights. I tried the led conversion boxes without success (the backs worked a treat) both myself and the chap who provided them can't work out why they won't stop the fast flash and they make no difference to the side lights as they worked anyway! So I've ended up fitting Powerfull's 22 Ohm resistors and they fix the flash issue. I still have the "check front light" warning on the dash, everything works as it should just wondering if anyone has a work round or experienced the same issue... Thanks in advance! 2003 Vogue TD6 converted to black 2012 set up |

I'm thinking about embarking on my CEC before winter really kicks in. I've got all the bits but the one thing I can't seem to find is a wiring diagram for MY06 onward headlights.

It is Craig and I know I have the correct plugs, but I don't have the details of the rewiring I'll need to do. All the stuff I've read is only relevant to 2003-06 cars with the old style headlights.

Remind me when I get home... I'll have a look and see if I have anything... Also, check with NickTDV8 as he did his, which is the same as yours... He may have something I sent him that he could send on Alan... |

Not much point in getting AFS headlights, as they won't work with adaptive headlight equipped cars <2010 AFAIK Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Grest write up Matt. This helped me a lot as I started my facelift conversion today. One thing I'd like clarifying that doesn't seem to have been mentioned before is, what did you do with your air intake pipe that runs from the air filter to the off side front wing? I've had to remove this duct as the new headlight fouled it. Is there a different air duct needed, one that provides more clearance for the drivers side headlight.
