mine is currently at the indie to look at a similar problem, however not as bad as you describe. at startup there is smoke for a few seconds which then disappear. even when giving it a bit of stick there was no smoke, only when starting it.

When mine runs there is that much smoke, it looks the SAS have turned up. |

i'm a engine numpty but i didnt think the petrol v8 had a turbo.... ... - .- -.

the original poster needs to give more info. petrol? parts changed? engine machined? or checked? fault codes? all we know so far, is its a vogue, and it has at least 1 cylinder... and its cost a lot!! |

oooh, my eyes are so bad on pc's I didn't even know that icon was a'car' and you could hover on it! well a bit more info would help us all. if on a diagnostic, at least the emissions would show bad. and to one side... water loss? pressurizing? swapped coil packs to prove? from one side of engine to opposite, on one or all four? easy things to do before pulling the engine....what does the plug look like? were they swapped/changed. if you put an old coloured one in and it comes out cleaner, that's a water problem...
