machine mart gift voucher! MMMMM! better than pound sterling..

-- a really sticky elastic band around the wallet is a real boon.

best tool ever, -the internet! - how many times do we now reach for the phone to find out a quick answer to question with spanner in other hand!

I have quite a few mechanic pro tools and workshop equip, hoist, dollies, tool chests, compressor etc

but for instance, I have a led torch with a pull out car aerial with a magnet on the end to pick up the 10mm bolts you tend to drop and don't come through the engine bay etc. also use the claw on a bendy cable tool for same.
in the car, cheap 12v worklight I leave next to battery in case. (breakdown) I also have spare serpentine belt there too. and a bottle of coolant, and jump leads in the boot, and a decent tow rope to pull bmw's up a slope in winter, I have the sprinter bottle jack in there too.

^ yip, a big tool indeed..

Disposable nitrile gloves. I don't do any dirty job without them. It's like having extra hands! As in you do a dirty job but can take them off to go back in the car or nip to the toilet with clean hands..... Previously..

I wish I had a garage for all my tools as I'm a bit of a tool whore!!!
My tiny wee teng bit ratchets are proving quite handy! Breaker bar is always a winner as is a manly sized chappin stick!
