God Martin that was quick! The owner's manual says heat below 15°C but maybe it kicks in at a lower temperature. |

Ah ... sorry I was rather stupidly assuming you meant as an aux heater (i.e. on automatically to help warm up the cabin - as in a TDV8). You've got an SC so it should in theory work along the lines you've quoted, however I think it's hit and miss as in the summer if I hit the remote on mine it heats the cabin even if it is (very rare I know) over 20 degrees C ..... your's seems to be switched the other way, as if it only had timed ventilation and no aux heater! (the BMW era 4.4' petrols have this option....) Land Rover Addict

Normally if you've got the option of "Timed Climate Control" which mine has, it shouldn't make any difference if it's petrol or diesel, it works in the same way (only those who have the option, not the standard item).

Do you remember below which temperature the heater set in instead of the ventilation? |

Tried it early morning at 9°C and still blowing only cold air, seems a new unit didn't solve the problem! |
