Not sure with Range rover but I know BMW keys can be coded by pro locksmiths. Worth ringing someone like autolocksmith or other local locksmiths to see whether they can supply and code. |

I am lead to believe that Timpson can code Land Rover keys, Take you old one in with you and they can copy the code accross. The Land Rover and BMW key is essentially identical except for the logo on the buttons. The other thing you could try of course is to just take the electronic gubbins out of you old key and pop it into you new replacement one. No messing around with recoding keys... and only the cutting to get done. 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior |

No they can't. Been there, tried that! The keys are around £180 from the dealer. I bought one off ebay brand new, but it was bought from the USA and was a different frequency and didn't work. The only option is the dealer I'm afraid. It will come pre-programmed to your car, I'm told. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |
