My take - Craig recommended diesel cleaner and he is in a position to know. I've been meaning to get some but haven't got round to it yet. Haven't used the car that much since though.

I got some BG244 and used it, I think it has improved things as I can't remember why I bought it in the first place as engine runs smooth. If it was always this smooth I wouldn't have bought the cleaner in the first place - if that makes sense Geoff |

The less fuel in the tank, the neater/stronger the mix... The more chance of clearing a partial blockage rather than just gently cleaning the fuel system as with mixing in a full tank of derv

I put a can in to try and clear up a possible EGR issue. Seems to have made a difference, wether placebo or not. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

This chap, Mark, supplies it and also supplies a top up at the pump additive, Archoil.

I use the Redex Diesel Additive fairly regularly with the FFRR, normally get a large bottle from Halfrauds for £12.99 and put 1/4 bottle in per tankful. I find it does smooth things out a bit...especially as I fill up at Morrisons. I go through a full tank of diesel per week, getting 625 miles per tankful and it makes cold weather starting easier.

Well, I bought a couple of bottles of these, the only diesel injector cleaner I could find in Switzerland, and added to a full tank of fuel. Each is meant to treat 60 litres, so slightly overdosed.

Well I bought some Archoil AR6400-D and it clearly says on the instructions not to overdose!
