The run on is something ive experienced on a lot of diesels that have shown this.

Stop solenoids always seem to stick that little more the higher the miles get so something that cleans the gunge off it and lets it move as intended is good Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Ok, full tank consumed. 568 miles driven, 20.81 gallons added back to the tank. Indicated mpg 29.1. Brimmed mpg 27.3.

No noticeable difference in NVH.

No noticeable difference in mpg.

Run on after switching engine off has stopped.

What you'd expect from preventative treatment. Thumbs Up

I've now added a couple of bottles of diesel fuel system treatment as I said I would in my previous post.
