Can't open the car

Hi all,

I have a problem with my L322.

The key fob is not synchronized with my Range, and when I try to open the driver door with the key, there is no resistance in the mecanism, and door does not unlock. Of course I have no other key fob... Sad

Is there a way to open the driver door without braking a window ?

Any idea is apreciated Bow down

Thanks a lot

Raf

is the range's battery flat?

if it is ,you can charge it up by removing the side indicator and attaching a battery charger.. ... - .- -.

Thank Stan for your answer

The battery is correctly charged, I read something about what you said ; unfortunately, It seems to be the mecanism which is dead.
And all the procedure I read about keyfob synchronization need the car to be open, or the mecanism of the driver door working

that makes things harder..if the key doesnt open the range remotely and the key doesnt turn the lock [broken cable?] then it does sound like you might have to break a window unless someone else has an idea.... ... - .- -.

This is what i think too, but this idea doesn't make me happy. I'll have to first replace the window, and to replace the cable (the key is totally free when i try to turn on left or right)
What is surprise me is that when i turned the key to the left, previously, If I maintained few seconds in this position, all the windows were opening at the same time, and were closing if I maintained the key turn on right. Now that the key is totally free, I can't open the window with this method ; does it mean that the cable made this action works or these two process are supposed to be independant ? Confused

i would have thought that..the cable is connected to the locking mechanism and there's probably a micro switch or something that triggers the windows.. ... - .- -.

is it possible to introduce a wire inside through a seal or somewhere else and then press the unlock button on the dash?

In French : introduire un cintre a travers un joint de porte et appuyer sur le bouton de verrouillage situé sur la console centrale.

I'll try, but I think the wire should be very rigid to allow to operate the button due to the distance between the seal and the dashboard, but you're right, I'll test this before breaking a window, but according to the profile of the door and the window I am unconfident with the success of the process.
Thank you for your idea and also for the french translation Bow down

I can't find picture of the mechanism (with a H, sorry for the fault in the word mecanism in my previous messages Embarassed ) to see if the micro switch works because the cable make it move or if the micro switch is independant of the cable
I'm not sure i'm understandable

The lock has an extension part on the rear, not a cable...,more like a screwdriver extension turning a screw attachment in the latch left & right working the locks...

If I remember correctly there is also a keyhole on the passenger door - covered by a blanking plate - I think you could prise that off and try to get in that way - chance of both cables being broken is very slim!

I'm not sure to understand all the idea, but what i understand is that with a screwdriver,
- i can remove a screw ?
- or I have to move the screwdriver betwen the upper and lower level of the tailgate to make something release the lock ?

So your issue will be the attachment has fell out of the latch assembly... Thumbs Up
