Shocked

I've flown (and taxied) a plane. With the wings, it's a LOT wider than you expect. But to drive straight into the tail of another one ... Banging Head

I wonder if they do have PDC?

Anyway - Farnborough airshow in July. Top attractions - the Airbus A350, and the vertical take-off F35 stealth/fighter/bomber thingy. 4 1/2 hours of flying display per day.

Guess who's going (for the first time in 24 years)? Very Happy

Yes, airliners.net is a brilliant site, and the forum has a lot of information from aviation professionals.

Good story:

A passenger airliner was stopped at an airport to pick up additional passenger. There was a technical delay that forced a one to two hour delay. Passengers already on the plane were told they could leave the aircraft and walk around the terminal. An elderly, vision-impaired woman told the flight crew that she wished to remain in her seat, but would someone please take her seeing-eye dog for a walk? The pilot volunteered.

The airline was then swamped with cell phone calls from panicked passengers throughout the airport who were worried about "the blind pilot" and demanding to be switched to a different airline.

What to do if there's a slight reduction on the number of wings. Spin on to 2:15.
