Good story: A passenger airliner was stopped at an airport to pick up additional passenger. There was a technical delay that forced a one to two hour delay. Passengers already on the plane were told they could leave the aircraft and walk around the terminal. An elderly, vision-impaired woman told the flight crew that she wished to remain in her seat, but would someone please take her seeing-eye dog for a walk? The pilot volunteered. The airline was then swamped with cell phone calls from panicked passengers throughout the airport who were worried about "the blind pilot" and demanding to be switched to a different airline. |
