got my hands on it tonight. no spare key, no log book, no service history, but very happy!

was a repo i believe, and the dealer managed to collect service back to 2007 including diff recall, new gearbox at 57k, and dealer servicing since.

only slight problem is the main beam doesn't work, and the lpg gauge is a liar!

United States 2003 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Java Black

Hello, FullFatRR Posters.
I'm happy to join your forum, which I have occasionally viewed, but not signed-up for until now.
I've been on the rangerovers.net forum for a few years now, since gaining custodianship of my 2003 (US model year) FFRR HSE in 2008.
I've had to do many of the common repairs over the years:

Air strut replacement
Wheel bearing replacement (by indy mech)
PCV system
Radiator
expansion tank
Coolant hoses
Water pump (by indy mech (I didn't have time))
Transmission filter & fluid ( about 6 liters anyway)
Valve cover gaskets
Brake parts
Headlight ignitor
Steering transducer
Front Prop Shaft recall (by dealership)

and various others that I don't recall at the moment.

I really like the layout & structure of this forum; not too much clutter or garbage to slow it down, and logical, clear topics. 03 HSE Range Rover (U.S. Spec)

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover SE TDV8 Bonatti Grey
Bit late but here is my intro.

Hi
Sorry for not following Fullfat etiquette I should of introduced myself before posting but never mind its a learning curve, anyhows I am originally from Norfolk lived in France now for 17 years but continue to fly the flag with my choice of motors just got myself a Zermatt silver LHD 07 vogue, thought it was a SE because had all the extras but then realised it didn't have the vented seats or the SE badge but by that time I had already fallen for it. I work on the rigs so I only get six months of the year to play but at least it keeps the km down.

Ok thats my intro done now back to reading the posts.

Cheers

Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zambezi Silver

G'day Everyone
Ever since I was a kid watching The New Avengers I wanted a RR. In 2010 I finally bought a 2003 td6. Rich? No. Hassle-free motoring? No. Loving it? Yes. Some will save for a 2nd hand Porsche or Alfa and I admire that too. I've had the radiator, link rid ends, rear rotors and a door actuator replaced. 200k and still going strong. Any words of advice
Mark

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey

I've just come over from the RRS side and currently own a Sport HSE, but have placed an order for a Range Rover Westminster.

No firm delivery date test but told it will be in the May slot the dealer (Aberdeen) has.

Details of order are Westminster TDV8 4.4L in Orkney Grey with Jet Oxford leather interior and a few options.
Adoptive Cruise Control
Active Rear Locking differential
Electrochromatic exterior door mirrors
Venture Cam
Adoptive Xenon headlamps
Vision Assist Pack
HomeLink
Tow Bar detatchable
and Mud Flaps

Hope I've made a good choice, can't wait for it to arrive now.

Thanks Joker, there are a few FFRR's, not many RRS's and loads of Freelanders and Discoveries so my FFRR will have plenty of company. Thumbs Up Sheep Sheep

United States 2006 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Hey guys! New member here from New Jersey. I just picked up a zambezi silver 06' HSE and have been a Rover lover since birth. I have owned VW's my entire life so it is very nice to step up into something larger and more prestigious, along with capable. I have some plans for the truck, already switched over to the S/C front grill, 2010 side vents, 5% tints all around, and switched all the logos over to the new silver/black ones. A 2012 front end swap, matte wrap, brembo brakes, wheels & tires are all in the works. Looking for a exhaust but haven't found a good one just yet. So that is my little hello and I look forward to many more miles with this rig. -Paul. Thumbs Up
