United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

Hello dear Range Rover lovers!

I own three other Land Rovers and an AMG E55, but am hoping to buy myself an L322 very soon to replace an early-ish Discovery V8.

I could talk endlessly about Defenders, Series and Discoverys, and can pass muster to a degree with a RR Classic, but have realised I know pretty little on the later beasts.

I've a few questions to ask elsewhere in this lovely little place before taking a leap of faith. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I took the plunge recently

Hi all, what a great forum you have here.

Well about a month ago after lots of deliberating I finally took the plunge and bought my first V8 late 2003 vogue. Wow what a dream they are to drive. I originally convinced the wife I needed to keep my beloved XKR as well as the FF but I just cannot bring myself to drive the XK given the choice, the comfort in the FF is just sooo nice.

Needless to say the XK will be going, I think I will be in the market for a TDV8 fairly soon.

The RR drives incredibly well for an 8 year old 110K miles car and is a credit to it's previous owners. The only niggles I have had are the whole right bank of speakers don't work, I can live with that for now, squeaky rear bushes, booked in for sorting next week and wheel wobble at 80 mph, old/mishapen rear tyre, swapped with spare and balanced for a tenner at my favorite tyre bay.

I will no doubt have lots more to chat about in the future, thanks again for a great FF forum.

 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie

Hi Scarey, thanks for the welcome. Ref speakers, tried that already but thanks for the suggestion.

I will have a look for water ingress but will open a new thread regarding this problem and how I resolve it, if and when. 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie

Another Noob

Hello everyone, just wanted to say its a very nice site you've got here and I'm joining as a potential FF'er.
I'm thinking of selling my beloved VX220 Turbo for one of these Rangies. Yes the draw is powerful!

I'm a member of a couple of other forums so I know the etiquette: be a spelling nazi, take the slightest jibe as deeply personal and argue at every single opportunity.

Just kidding!
Very Happy

Hi there

Thought I say hi .

I've been looking in on this forum for a little while and thought I'd better log myself in and join in the 322 club. There a wealth of infomation here and glad the mrs fell on this site.
Ok I don't have one just yet but have been looking for quite a while for the ' right one ' to appear.

Ok a liitle bit about myself, owned 4x4s for many years mainly Defenders and Discoverys and at the moment have a Discovery v8, 90 v8 competition motor, wifes every day run-a-round Defender110...v8 of course and have a Land Cruiser 80 series too (yep the 4.5 petrol one) but have always wanted a Range Rover since 1994 when the p38a came out.
So I took a 38a on a test drive the other week and thought should I take the risk....we all know the problems they have had in the passed, then took a 322 out and boy how much they have moved on, nicer cabin, nicer ride and a lot quicker too for a 4.4 v8 !

So its 322 all the way now and the Disco and Cruiser will go.

Ahhh just phoned the lr dealer in Nottingham about a 322 they have and its sold Big Cry , was only on the net for a few days! oh Censored , need to move quicker next time! Laughing If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

France 2007 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Goodevening fullfatters (as most of us here after Xmas)
Dutchman in France here. Just wishing you all a great full fat 2012.
I am now recovering from my RR vogue on LPG. Sold back to the UK.
Now want another one to enjoy.
The classic and vintage car virus has kept me busy for over 30 years now and the RR has helped me a lot.
Currently owning
Alvis 12/50 1932, Talbot 65 1934, MG TC 1949, Aston Martin DB7 1996.
So know nearly all about RHDriving, throttle in the middle, righthand gearchange, preselector gearboxes and braking with the "tankermode" in mind.
Love this site, the comments and the "nasty" remarks.
Enjoy your "wheels"
Robert
