The issue with jump starting comes in removing the jump leads too quickly, once the car is up and running.

Both cars need to be connected for a good few minutes once started, to let both batteries regain some life again, otherwise when removed, the alternator is not working flat out trying to charge, hence the battery voltage drops a large amount, and the alternator "spikes" to bring the voltage back up.
This is what causes the problem Thumbs Up

I just put short leads on my Anderson Connectors, but you can run them to a more convenient place -



Connectors on both ends of the cable as my other cars also have Anderson connectors fitted -
