Do you need to use the auto soft button every time ? I get a differing number of channels depending on location/reception area.

if you stay in the same area all the time , then no . You can store any station you want by holding down one of the 1-9 buttons for a few seconds till it changes colour .

If your driving about then you will get different amounts of stations , depending on were you are .I always just press the auto button , as that finds all the stations it can in one go . You can manually search through if you want , but i like to be able to see at a glance whats available .

Thanks Wiggs.
I am also interested in your upgraded Bluetooth unit. Does it work with iPhone 3 (and 4 soon). And how much?
Thanks
Andy

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

Hi

Fitted a digital tuner from wiggs a few months ago. Removed the left hand (looking into the boot) side panel put 2 strips of 1 inch wide double sided tape on the top face of the new tuner and stuck it to the face of the old tuner with the tops level. There's just enough room for both as the new tuner is slightly thinner. It's easy now to change the plugs over as they are the same colour codes. Simple to do in about 5 minutes.

Bluetooth module works great to (thanks to WIGGS)

2006 face lift touch screen FFRR.

Hi Duka, if you have the LR rear entertainment system, then you can't just stick the new unit in as there is no room, you need to remove the old analogue one and put the new one in its place (but you only use 2 of the original 4 bolts to hold it). If fitted one of Adrians last year and also have the rear entertainment, I described how to do it on page 5 of this thread if that's any use to you. It took me around 2hrs originally, but I can now remove all the kit and replace it again in around 30-40mins max.
Cheers Steve

Hi Wiggs,

I'm interested in the Bluetooth module upgrade. Do you need my old module or is your service for a complete replacement??

Also do you know if there is a way of changing the Analog Radio module for a DAB one???

I have a Facelift 2006 TD6.

Thanks for your time.
Kind Regards
Paul

Wigs: any update on the DAB upgrade stuff you mentioned? Is this likely possible with older front screens?
