How do you clean mud off the underside of the car?

Well I went off-roading this weekend and had a great time. Unfortunately the FFRR is now caked in mud underneath and around the brakes and suspension. I tried a gentle pressure wash to get the worst off, but unfortunately the brakes are clogged and dragging a bit too.

Anyone got any tips to get rid of this, apart from sticking it in off-road mode and crawling underneath with a pressure washer / brush?

As far as im aware its either this or KLEENTEC, Which is great but massively expensive.

^ Worthless in my opinion, the one i have seen wont touch any real mud. At best they help rinse the salt off a little. 5 mins with a pressure washer is mile better.

We didn't have any clean water to get rid of the muck. Only streams filled with clay and occasionally cow dung. Was a hell of a day though and can't wait to do it again.

One year I went to collect my son from T in the Park and the mud was so bad it coated everything underneath and it set like a cement like substance. It took hours with a pressure washer to shift it, hours. Doms picture is the way to do it, let it soak, then blast it off. Previously..

£10 on a garden sprinkler and if its rock hard leave to soak in a little. Use the mist setting to soak and then the stronger one to wash off.

Tie the sprinkler to some long string as well and use that to pull it to and fro under the car Smile has kept mine ok after my trips.

I used to have to put my scruffs on, stick it in extended hieght as lay down at each side of the car and use the garden hose everytime but now it only gets that every few months Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

£65 off fleabay...

Though why not just get a patio cleaner, stick wheels on its top and use that for a lot less money and something that could scrub as well? On the l322 IMO your better off soaking with a hose and laying on your side so you can see whats being done. As that video shows it still left stuff on the rails even after a few passes... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
