My TDV8 does not like Junk Food

Bizarre.........

The last 48 Hours have seen some customer issues, and my main role has been trips to various fast food outlets to keep people fed and watered. Now for the odd bit. Every time I go into a McDonalds or KFC drive through I get Transmission Fault followed by Lowered Suspension (and it really does) along with what looks like the ABS warning light. If I switch off and back on while in the drive though, the faults remain. Do it after I drive off and all is well again !

Happened 4 times in a row..... any ideas ? 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography

Found the issue now. It must be because I am pressing the brake pedal hard while fishing out my wallet.

Any time I press the brake pedal really hard, all the christmas tree lights start flashing. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography

I bet it the dealer loaded the new "get fit through good food" diet program. It links the GPS and the microphone to the central server at JLR and when the server software sees it is a "bad" food place, the ECUs are told to generate random faults Laughing MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

2006 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Zambezi Silver

When I drive my M3 past a ceratin part of the road on the way to work (beside a railway crossing) my ABS light almost always comes on - It only ever does it at that part of the road - must be radio interference of some sort. If i stop and restart then the light goes out and stays out........ Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

Unfortunately it seems to be getting worse, but the fast food thing was a red herring and purely coincidental. Now getting all of the following if I press the brake pedal hard while stationary

Terrain Response Fault
Parking brake Fault
Suspension lowered
HDC Fault
Transmission Fault

Plus the abs warning and brake warning lights ! 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography

Start looking at voltage (battery and/or alternator) issues and grounding issues. This sounds like crooked volt issues. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Battery and alternator not much more than 6 weeks old so hopefully not.

I think a trip to the dealer is on the cards. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography
