2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Apparently a well known fault (the LR Assistance guy knew the answer before I finished describing the symptoms)

Brake Light Switch (Hall Effect on Post 07) and mine just needed adjusting, but was done on my driveway. Took about 2 hours and a minor dismantling of the lower dashboard.

Apparently more common on older cars which have a different sensor, but is also much easier to change.
