Well you have
2 for the base element,
1 for the squab element
Then all the rest are connections for motors etc
Il take a pic of the spare that I have so you know which connector to look for

The underside of the seat pad

These two connectors go to each rear corner of the seat trim, they are for the elements
And it was the connector that was the culprit

Great info, thank you! My driver’s seat is not heating, I have the 5 seconds led’s on and then nothing, so I found the connectors (the ones with the yellow arrows in the picture) and measured them on both seats. The multimeter shows continuity, so does this mean that the seat rest heater could be defective?

Possibly, my broken connector was the car loom side not the heat pad side of the connector

Maybe press the button and see if you get 12v??

To check the squab is easy, the leather back bit has 3 elastic straps that connect onto the bottom of the seat, then a small screw either side at the back, the it lifts up an off.
That will expose the connectors in the back of the seat.

What continuity reading did you get? As a heater element it shouldn't be a dead short. Maybe 20ohms or something like that? A dead short is just as bad as an open circuit

This is weird, I get 0.5 ohms on all the elements, including the ones from the passenger seat, where the heater is working...

Aslong as there all the same then that proves you element is fine.

So might be relay, or the back element. Or the fuse?

Have you checked your getting 12v to the connector?

OK, so I dismantled the rear seat back on both seats. There is only one heater connector and it is reversed compared to the seating pad, anyway, on the passenger seat there is continuity, but not on the driver seat… I presume the back heating element is even harder to find and replace than the one from the seating pad…

After a very long time I managed to finally find the problem of my driver seat heating element, it was the connection between the backrest heater and the cable that goes to the connector… The cable is attached to the resistor through a small disk that was probably riveted but now is completely rusted… It is really hard to get to this connection point as it’s sewn into the seat cover. But after twisting the cable around the resistor end and soldering them together it’s working at last!

The circled area is the connection point where corrosion was present.

thanks to the motivation of this thread, i just got done fixing the back seat element wiring connection. My gray wire was disconnected in the cushion. I was able to do it all w/o removing the seat. You'll have to get creative pulling the lower portion of the back leather cover loose and pull it through the front of the seat to access the connection point.
