997 - notable issues with the 3.8 engine, check the near side exhaust for excessive carbon build up compared to the other.

Just to finish this thread.... She ended up choosing a Honda CRV. She is as happy as a pig in the proverbial with it and it really does do everything she wants of a car. As for me, well, I'm starting a new thread on my new toy. Previously..
